Is this an extra donation on top of my state taxes?

Can I recommend a specific school or student?
Answer
Yes. Arizona law allows donors to recommend a school or a student who is not their dependent. However, all final scholarship award decisions must be made by the STO in accordance with state law. We cannot guarantee awards to specific students.
Can I still take other Arizona tax credits in the same year?

Is there a deadline to make my contribution?
Answer
Contributions may generally be made during the calendar year, and in many cases up to April 15 for the prior tax year, subject to Arizona law in effect for that year. Your receipt will indicate the tax year for which your contribution is eligible.
Do I need a tax professional to do this?
